Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Representative:

  • Generate insurance quotes, explain coverage options, deliver professional sales presentations, and confidently close sales opportunities
  • Follow up with prospective and existing clients to review policies, answer questions, and identify additional coverage needs
  • Develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking, outbound outreach, and relationship-building strategies
  • Cross-sell and recommend additional products that align with clients needs and financial goals
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and company procedures to better serve customers
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals, performance metrics, and customer service expectations

Requirements

Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Representative Role:

  • Active Property & Casualty License required, or the ability and willingness to obtain licensing within 30 days of employment
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities
