First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.

Job Title- ER RN (Emergency Room Registered Nurse)
Facility Name- St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center
Location- Phoenix, AZ, 85013
Shift- 12hrs NIGHTS
Contract Length- 13 Weeks
Pay Package:
Gross Weekly- $2,170/week
Weekly Hours- 36hrs/week
Breakdown-
W2- $20/hr
Stipend- $1,450/week
Job Description:
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Experience or 'Must Have' Skills:
 

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
     
  • Must have at least 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience
     
  • Strong trauma and emergency care background required
     
  • Must be able to read telemetry strips
     
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
     
  • Traveler must have reliable transportation
     

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years
Unit Details:
 

  • Level 1 Trauma Center
     
  • Emergency Department / Trauma Unit
     
  • 1:4 Nurse-to-Patient Ratio
     
  • Cerner Charting System
     
  • Approximately 250–300 patients per day
     

Schedule & Requirements:
 

  • 12-Hour Night Shifts
     
  • 4 Weekend Shifts per 4 Weeks
     
  • Holiday Coverage as Needed
     
  • Float between St. Joseph's facilities and affiliated Free-Standing ERs
     
  • Pass/Fail Clinical Exam Required on Orientation Day 1
     

Additional Notes:
 

  • No local candidates within 50 miles
     
  • Navy scrubs required
     
  • Natural hair colors only; no facial piercings
     
  • Male staff must be clean-shaven for fit testing
     
  • Trauma, cardiac, psych, and emergency patient populations
     
  • Travel teams must provide their own vehicle
