Job description

Trading Engineer - Execution

We are looking for a multi-talented and passionate Trading Systems Engineer to join our execution development team. You will join a team of motivated and experienced professionals committed to continual improvement and rigorous standards of operational excellence. You will be given a high degree of responsibility over a range of complex real-time system interactions and partner with technology and development teams to improve our execution systems.

Your Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure continuity of critical trading operations, prioritizing resolution of system issues with a sense of urgency
  • Partner with technology and trading teams to continually evolve and deploy system architecture
  • Develop automation tools for system orchestration and upkeep
  • Support core market connectivity and correspond with exchanges regarding trade order activity, connectivity, and other related technical issues
  • Monitor trading system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement lasting solutions
Your Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Integration, or a related role required
  • 3+ years of hands-on professional experience with Linux operating systems, network configuration, and server management required
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering disciplines
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including network routing protocols, TCP/UDP, multicast, network offload, and kernel bypass technology required
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash required
  • Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL technology preferred
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technology preferred
  • Experience with installing and configuring FPGA systems in a Linux environment preferred
  • Self-driven and curious, with the ability to solve problems uniquely specific to our trading setup and learn on the job

The Base Salary range for the role is included below. Base salary is only one component of total compensation; all full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance.
