🔥 DAY-SHIFT RADIATION THERAPIST CONTRACT – CALIFORNIA CANCER CENTER

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Radiation Therapist in Merced, California. Operating within a dedicated regional cancer center, this position offers a highly desirable 5x8 daytime schedule (07:30 AM - 16:00 PM / 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday) with no weekends, no floating, and zero call requirements. If you are a California-licensed Radiation Therapist with Elekta Linear Accelerator experience looking to secure a lucrative pay package exceeding $3,200/week with tax-free stipends, this contract is tailored for you!

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $3,206.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $49.00/hr
  • Overtime Rate: $73.50/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (07:30 AM - 16:00 PM / 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Block scheduling configurations are not available.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
  • Weekend & Floating Requirements: NO WEEKENDS & NO FLOATING REQUIRED!
  • On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! Enjoy complete off-duty freedom outside of scheduled day hours.
  • Clinical Scope & Responsibilities: Operates radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, precise therapeutic radiation doses. Demonstrates proficiency across linear accelerators, simulators, dosimetry workflows, and block cutting.
  • Equipment & Software: Elekta Linear Accelerator platform and Cerner EMR charting.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical radiation oncology experience is strictly required. Proven experience operating Elekta linear accelerators is required.
  • Licensure: Active Therapeutic Radiology License issued by the State of California is strictly required.
  • Certifications Required:
    • ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy certification.
    • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
