SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Material Handler I is primarily responsible for stockroom duties. This includes but is not limited to receiving and stocking incoming consumables/raw materials, conducting inventory counts and reviewing documentation to maintain up-to-date inventory records and receiving documentation. Material Handler l also responsible for assisting in the packaging and shipping of finished devices for outside sterilization services.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Under direct supervision of Manager, Materials Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records by performing inventory cycle counts
  • Use ERP system to receive incoming inventory per area SOPs
  • Use ERP system to process and transfer inventory to production per area SOPs
  • Assist in preparing/packaging devices for outside sterilization services per area SOP
  • Complete all area documentation following GDP
  • Scan and file documents
  • Assist with other warehouse related tasks as needed
  • Ability pickup and transport bladders from the abattoir to the facility when necessary(?)

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing/Warehousing experience preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of GMP and ISO standards preferred
  • Must be punctual

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift and move 40+ lbs
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency in physical activity such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and crouching

Salary Pay Range:

$19.19 - $25.43 USD Hourly
