Job description

Hairfinity African Hair Artistry, a natural hair salon in Madison, WI specializing in dreadlocks and natural hairstyles, is hiring a skilled braider to join our team as a commission-based independent contractor.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with box braids, knotless braids, goddess braids,Senegalese twist, cornrows, sew-ins and other protective styles

• Reliable, professional, strong client rapport

• Comfortable managing your own tools/supplies

What we offer:

• Competitive commission split [60%]

• Steady client flow through our existing booking system (Booksy) and marketing

• Flexible scheduling — set your own hours within salon availability

• Supportive, professional salon environment

Independent Contractor Terms: As a 1099 contractor, you’ll set your own schedule and manage your own client techniques/approach. You’ll receive a written contractor agreement and W-9 at onboarding.
