Job description

Iberia Medical Center (IMC) in New Iberia, LA is looking for team members who will help advance our vision to be the premier hospital of choice for patients, physicians and employees. IMC is currently hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant , in our Med Surg unit. The CNA is responsible for effectively interacting with the patient, significant others and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing.  They will also use the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and related criteria for the newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.


EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 
  • High School graduate preferred. 
  • 1 year previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles.

SCHEDULES:
