Sales Rep / Account Executive -- Wedding Tech Startup (Commission + Hourly)

Foreverly Weddings

PTO

This job post has expired today. Applications are no longer accepted.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls and outreach to wedding venues and vendors across MN, WI, and IL.

  • Manage the sales pipeline in the CRM and follow up until deals are closed.

Job description

About the job

About Foreverly

Foreverly is a wedding marketplace startup built around one idea: transparent pricing. Couples browse venues and vendors, see real prices, and build their whole wedding online like a shopping cart instead of filling out contact forms and waiting for quotes. We're live in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois and going after the big wedding directories head on.

We were founded by wedding venue owners. We know exactly what venues and vendors deal with on the big platforms, so we built the alternative.

Read This Part First

We're an early-stage startup. That means:

  • There's no benefits package, no corporate ladder, no cushy office. There's actually no office at all yet.
  • The hours are longer at times. Some weeks you'll grind harder than you have at a normal job.
  • In return, you get in on the ground floor of something that could be massive. You'll work directly with the founders, your ideas will actually ship, and for the right person there's real equity potential as we grow.

If you read that and got excited, keep going. If you read that and started thinking about PTO policies, this isn't your job, and that's okay.

The Role

Full-time, remote/hybrid. You'll work from home most days, with regular in-person meetups within 30 minutes of the Twin Cities metro to plan, train, and keep the team dialed in. You need to be based in or near the Twin Cities (Within an hour).

You'll be on the front lines of growing our supply side: getting wedding venues and vendors (florists, DJs, photographers, planners, caterers) onto the platform.

Day to day:

  • Outbound calls and outreach to venues and vendors across MN, WI, and IL
  • Running demos and walking owners through how Foreverly works
  • Getting new accounts signed up, onboarded, and live
  • Managing your pipeline in our CRM and following up until deals close
  • Building the sales playbook with us as we figure out what works

Compensation

  • Hourly base plus uncapped commission on every account you activate
  • Realistic first-year earnings: $55,000-75,000. Top performers can pace well past it.
  • Equity potential for the right person who proves they can grow this with us

Who You Are

  • You've sold before and you can prove it with numbers
  • Comfortable with outbound and cold calling. Most of this job is starting conversations.
  • Self-directed. Remote means nobody's watching over your shoulder, and you don't need them to.
  • You want ownership and upside more than you want safety
  • Comfortable with the pace and messiness of an early-stage startup
  • Experience in weddings, hospitality, or events is a plus. If you've sold for The Knot, WeddingWire, or Zola, we especially want to talk to you.

How to Apply

  • Send us your resume and a short note (3-5 sentences) on why you'd be great at this.
