To succeed in this role, you should be analytical and resourceful. You should also be an excellent communicator who's able to tell the story behind raw data to non-technical audiences. • Evaluate and preprocess raw information
  • Delve into data to discover discrepancies and patterns
  • Build models that capture a wide range of health care operations
  • Present and explain information in an accessible way (e.g budgeting reports)
  • Suggest ways to both increase healthcare quality and reduce costs (e.g. money spent in R&D)
  • Collaborate with management and internal teams to implement and evaluate improvements

Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience) in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Recent graduates and candidates with 0-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
    • Knowledge of healthcare data concepts, healthcare workflows, or Electronic Health Records (EHR) gained through coursework, internships, research, or projects.
    • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and data visualization techniques.
    • Basic understanding of SQL for querying and analyzing data.
    • Exposure to ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts through academic or professional projects.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), is a plus.
    • Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, or Python is preferred.
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
