Job Description
  • Provides guest service to all visitors to the HR office including applicants and team members in a helpful, courteous and friendly manner.
  • Administers and audits all processes related to team members' licensing requirements with the Indiana Gaming Commission to ensure full compliance with all regulations.
  • Educates team members on the benefit plans offered by Boyd Gaming and partners with Team Member Services to troubleshoot benefit-related issues.
  • Coordinates  and executes team member events, volunteer and recruitment activities.
  • Facilitates on-boarding activities.
  • Completes day-to-day HR andministrative process activities.
  • Organizes and oversees the maintenance of team member records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Department subject matter expert on the HRIS system and other HR related systems such as Learning Management System, Talent Management System and Performance Management software.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and practices, local, state and federal laws, and government regulations pertaining to employment practices.
  • Monitor supplies and equipment, review inventory and place purchasing requistions in order to maintain levels of inventory which best meets user and department budget requirments.
  • Assist with HR Business Partner duties.
Qualifications
  • Prior HR experience or leadership experience a plus.
  • Must demonstrate a strong solutions-focus approach and is comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Proven ability to research, analyze, and evaluate new methods, procedures, and techniques.
  • Must be able to manage a high-volume workload and be able to demonstrate flexibility in shifting focus among multiple priorities.
  • Ability to research, analyze, comprehend and act upon information as appropriate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of organizational and time management skills.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office.

Must demonstrate applied knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
