Millwright - Direct Placement - $36/hr!

Job Description

Join our team as a Millwright, where you will perform both preventive and reactive maintenance in a dynamic environment. Our facility is equipped with numerous conveyors and rail cars, requiring expertise in repairing bearings and rollers on conveyor belts. You will also be responsible for some electrical tasks, particularly involving 3-phase motor hookups. This role is ideal for those with a knack for troubleshooting hydraulic systems and experience in machinery installation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on conveyors and rail cars.
  • Repair bearings and rollers on conveyor belts.
  • Conduct electrical tasks, including 3-phase motor hookups.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems mechanically.
  • Assist in the installation and movement of machinery.
  • Address frequent reactive maintenance calls due to aging equipment.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in hydraulics, mechanical, and pneumatics systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Experience with 480v electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform welding tasks.
  • Knowledge in PLC troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Welding experience is highly beneficial.
