Job description

Perform duties to monitor the activities of the staff and guests to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines and safety rules.  Take necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of operations.  Exercise good judgment to ensure the safety and security of the guests, staff and assets within the limits of standard or accepted policies and procedures.  The following duties are normal for this job. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work while stand/walk for 100% of your shift.
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, reach, and twist when needed.
  • Ability to work in hot/cold environments

  • Staff various posts as assigned.
  • Perform the functions of a Security Officer, which includes jackpots, escorts, table fills, and boarding.
  • Monitor and control guest access to and from the vessels or non-public areas and maintain a log of guest counts.
  • Maintain presence and take action to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff and organizational assets.
  • Remove and detain in a security area unruly and disruptive individuals or persons engaged in criminal activity.
  • Coordinate with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.
  • Conduct investigations of incidents as required.
  • Scheduling of daily post assignments
  • Accompany all movement of money to and from the gaming tables, cage or vault.
  • Schedule departmental staff for coverage.
  • Work with the marine department to conduct emergency and training drills onboard the vessel.
  • Schedule departmental staff for coverage.
  • Properly Monitor/Staff the EVOLVE weapon detection system at guest and employee entrances in a Dual Rate and Ambassador role as needed
