Job description

You will serve as a FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM (FAP) CLINICAL CASE MANAGER in the Fleet and Family Readiness Department (N9) of NAS PENSACOLA.Qualifications:This is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled by any of the following series: CLINICAL COUNSELOR (0101), PSYCHOLOGIST (0180), SOCIAL WORKER (0185).
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Directing and coordinating the work of professional employees to include assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of assignment difficulty and requirements, and the employee's capabilities, and privileging status; 2) Providing supervision concerning evaluation, risk assessment, intervention, treatment, and case management for a wide range of client needs; 3) Maintaining comprehensive, expert-level command of FAP statutory requirements, policy directives, and compliance regulations; 4) Demonstrated expert clinical judgment in diagnosing family violence dynamics, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, and delivering evidence-based treatment for both victims and offenders.

This position is a TIER TWO clinical care practitioner. Applicants must meet all of the following requirements as outlined in SECNAVINST 1754.8:
1. Possess at least a masters or doctoral degree in one of the following disciplines:
a. Master's degree from a program accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) or an equivalent degree,
OR
b. Master's degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) or an equivalent degree,
OR
c. Master's degree in Social Work from a graduate school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or an equivalent degree,
OR
d. Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited university or professional school and a one-year APA accredited clinical internship.
2. State or U.S. territory license or certification that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner in the fields of Licensed Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.
3. When the state or U.S. territory licensing or certification requirements include a written examination, candidates for privileging, must have achieved a passing score on that examination.
4. Must have engaged in two years, full-time, post-masters supervised clinical experience

Basic education requirements for the GS-0101, Professional Social Science Series:
Have successfully completed a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled
OR
Have a combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Have four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Basic education requirements for the GS-0180, Professional Psychology Series:
Have successfully completed a degree with a major or equivalent in psychology for a specialization other than clinical or counseling psychology
OR
Have successfully completed all the requirements for a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
OR
Have successfully completed 2 full academic years of graduate study directly related to professional work in counseling psychology, or successfully completed all the requirements for a master's degree directly related to counseling psychology in an accredited educational institution.
Basic education requirements for the GS-0185, Professional Social Work Series:
Have successfully completed a degree in social work that fulfills all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
OR
