Position Summary
As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a client base while delivering exceptional fitness coaching and support. You will create customized training programs tailored to individual member goals and educate clients on exercise techniques, nutrition, cardiovascular fitness, resistance training, and healthy lifestyle habits.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct fitness consultations and assessments.
  • Design individualized exercise programs based on member goals and abilities.
  • Deliver safe, effective, and engaging personal training sessions.
  • Educate members on proper exercise techniques and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Build and maintain a strong client base through relationship-building and outreach.
  • Track client progress and adjust programs as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment.
  • Uphold Crunch Fitness standards and promote the "No Judgments" philosophy.
  • Collaborate with club staff to create an exceptional member experience.

Qualifications
Required
  • Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent), or the ability to obtain certification within an approved timeframe.
  • Current CPR/AED Certification, or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire individuals of all fitness levels.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20-35 hours per week, including at least one weekend shift.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties, including demonstrating exercises and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred
  • Previous personal training or fitness industry experience.
  • Degree or coursework in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, or a related field.
  • Experience with fitness consultations, sales, and client retention.
