Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to clients’ specific needs and goals.
• Maintain a caseload of 25-30 client visits per week, ensuring each client receives quality therapeutic interventions through individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Document patient interactions meticulously according to organizational policies, including intake assessments, treatment plan updates, and session notes.
• Apply creative therapeutic techniques and interventions as necessary to help clients engage actively in their therapeutic processes and achieve greater outcomes.
• Coordinate care effectively, collaborating with case managers, families, medical personnel, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding while maintaining professionalism to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, including children, adolescents, couples, and families who often face challenges such as addiction, trauma, and other mental health issues. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be instrumental in supporting these clients through their journey toward recovery, teaching them effective coping strategies and fostering resilience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Strong understanding of family therapy principles and practices.
• Proficient in implementing treatment plans and clinical documentation, including treatment notes and diagnoses (DAs).
• Demonstrated experience working with children, youth, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients while promoting a safe therapeutic environment.
• Must successfully pass a background check prior to employment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with mental health documentation software to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Familiarity with local community resources to aid clients in accessing additional support services.
• Experience managing financial transactions and fee collection as part of client service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 based on qualifications and experience.
