  • Basic knowledge to read drawings, schematics and parts breakdowns.

  • Responsible for ensuring all rig Mechanical equipment is installed and functioning correctly.
  • Commission and function test new system installations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Mechanical rig equipment on existing rigs.
  • Train rig personnel on operation/maintenance on various mechanical rig equipment.
  • Create spare parts inventory list to support rig.
  • Document and record part serial numbers and asset numbers to be compiled in a master database for asset tracking for the project.
  • Work closely with rig personnel and clients to insure customer satisfaction with rig.
  • Coordinate with the office new installations and additional equipment installations to existing jobs.
  • Supervise team of 3rd party welders and service technicians from 3rd party electrical providers.
  • Design basic mechanical drives.
  • Provide detailed reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
