Job description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Manage electronic credit trading algorithms, optimizing their performance and alignment with trading strategies to service institutional and corporate accounts. Oversee price delivery, risk management, and data analytics, including pricing and risk mitigation strategies. Respond to day-to-day client requests and needs. Evaluate market drivers and developments, and provide solutions benefiting clients' trading strategies. Perform data analysis related to the business and its revenue drivers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in trading operations. Implement the firm's policies for managing the risks associated with credit trading, ensuring compliance and adapting strategies as needed to mitigate potential risks. Manage risk, liquidity, and exposure, driving all aspects of trading desk operations, including pre-trade analysis, trade execution, and designing risk management strategies for large trades.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as E-Markets, Electronic Risk Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Developing event-oriented processing engines and logic using Java; Performing predictive modeling using quantitative techniques and deep learning methods including probability, linear algebra, machine learning, recurrent neural networks, and long short-term memory. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Designing and developing reports using advanced Excel and PowerPoint functionalities including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, data analysis add-ons, pivots, VBA, and VBScript. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Developing applications and maintaining version control using DevOps tools including Unix and Jenkins; Analyzing and processing datasets using Python, kdb, and SQL; Writing code to process real-time and batch data; Performing data structuring, design flow, and query optimization; Determining actions and optimizing business processes using real-time data streams and time series data; Automating the creation of recurring reports and dashboards using Python, Tableau, and Java frameworks; Translating quantitative information into actionable insights by analyzing datasets; Creating visuals of data using pandas, matplotlib, and Tableau.

Full-Time. Salary:  $285,000 - $285,000 per year.
