Job description

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Data Engineer / Programmer to support enterprise data, ETL, database, and application integration initiatives. This position will work heavily with SQL and data processing while supporting the Relius Administration System and related business applications in Columbia, SC.

This role is ideal for a mid-level data professional with strong SQL skills who enjoys working with ETL processes, databases, data integrations, and troubleshooting business-critical systems.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Support database tables, indexes, schemas, and other database administration activities
• Monitor automated jobs, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data processing issues
• Support data mapping and API integrations between enterprise applications
• Query and analyze data to support reporting, research, and business requests
• Develop and maintain processing jobs, scripts, and system workflows
• Support Relius system updates, implementations, and production issues
• Test and implement new system functionality, processes, and reports
• Troubleshoot reporting and data issues, including Crystal Reports
• Partner with internal teams to resolve system and data-related support requests

What You’ll Need

• Strong SQL experience, including complex queries and ETL processes
• Experience with relational databases and basic database administration concepts
• Understanding of tables, indexes, schemas, and database structures
• Experience with data mapping and system integrations
• Understanding of APIs and application-to-application data flows
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
