SUMMARY

DUVEL USA is a family of amazing breweries and beverage companies, including award winning brands such as Boulevard Brewing Co., Boulevard Beverage Co., Brewery Ommegang, Duvel, Chouffe, Stone Brewing and more. Based at the Boulevard Brewing Co. office in Kansas City, we are looking for a graphic designer who is passionate about beer, branding, packaging design, excited to see their work come to fruition, and hungry to grow. We’re seeking a collaborative partner who enjoys creative thinking, communicating design rationale, and exploring the unknown. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strong concepts and ideas that help bring our brands to life
  • Present and articulate design thinking, strategy and rationale for the choices made; share the process of research, discovery and insights that led to the concepts presented
  • Execute selected concepts with an eye for the details and ways to take the work to the next level
  • Partner with Brand Managers to help execute business goals through strong creative output
  • Participate in conception and art directing product photo shoots
  • Work within our project management platform to manage projects and keep a consistent workflow
  • Participate in creative critiques and brainstorming

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, emphasis in marketing preferred
  • One to five years in the graphic design field
  • Solid knowledge of design principles and technical proficiency in design software
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and creating motion graphics is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, Excel, Word, 
  • Proficient in social media and website image creation
  • Photography editing skills preferred, primarily for packaging mock-ups
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
  • Strong work ethic: demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong judgment and professional maturity
  • Strong writing and editing ability
  • 1+ years’ experience in beer or other alcoholic beverage industry preferred
  • Abiding interest in craft beer culture

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
