Job description

Tygart is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a DOJ office in Clarksburg, WV. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in information security, a strong technical background in networking, system administration, and development, as well as familiarity with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and virtualization. A current Top Secret security clearance is required.

Job Description
  • Demonstrated level of experience in information security practices, including:
    • National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST)
    • Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP)
    • Common Criteria Defense Information Security Agency (DISA)
    • SANS Institute
  • Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development environments
  • Demonstrated level of experience in information security practices within the federal and/or state governments
  • Previous hands‑on technical experience in:
    • Networking
    • System administration
    • Development
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
    • Virtualization
    • Software‑defined infrastructure
    • Cloud computing technologies
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience (required)
  • Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance (required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Cloud Certification
