About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support and grow existing accounts while actively developing new business opportunities.
This is a relationship-driven B2B sales role with a clear career path into more strategic or senior sales positions within 12-18 months. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs and connect them with technical solutions that deliver real value.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and internal teams
  • Develop a strong understanding of Welker's products and technical capabilities
  • Provide solution-based recommendations aligned with customer needs
  • Manage and track sales opportunities from lead to close using ERP system (Oracle JD Edwards)
  • Follow up consistently on quotes, leads, and open opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and customer service teams
  • Meet or exceed individual sales and growth targets

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or 4+ years of direct sales experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable engaging with customers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general CRM/ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or oil & gas sales
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain mechanical or engineered products
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle JD Edwards or similar)
