Job description

  • Part-time Captain positions for Proud Mary Sightseeing Cruises, Dinner Cruises, Brunch Cruises, and Private Charter Cruises 

  • Hours are flexible. However, some evening, weekend, and summer holiday availability is a must 

  • This is a seasonal position

  • PA Boating Education Safety Certificate required. Captains also must pass a practical driving test issued by PA Fish and Boat Commission

  • Candidates must submit to and pass a physical exam and USCG mandated drug testing 

  • Candidates are expected to have firm knowledge of basic seamanship and boat handling

  • Candidates should have strong customer service skills

  • Candidates must be physically able to handle boat lines for cruise departures and arrivals
  • Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. 

  • Other job requirements include helping crew with filling clean water tank, cruise set up and clean up (carrying food, trash duty, resetting tables/chairs), stocking supplies, etc.

  • Will train the right candidate
