About the role
Are you a Massage Therapist looking to supplement your schedule with rewarding, consistent hours? HealthFitness is seeking a part-time Massage Therapist (about 10 hours per week) to work at a beautiful client site in Boston, MA, helping clients relax, recharge, and feel their best.

In this position, you will be responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests. We offer chair massage and will consider table massage depending on our client site's demand and interest.
We will start with Tuesdays and Thursdays during peak hours.
Key Accountabilities
  • Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
  • General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
  • Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.
  • Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.

Minimum Requirements
  • Massage Therapy License for the Massachusetts of required.
  • Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
  • 2+ years of massage therapy experience preferred.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
  • Experience in sports massage techniques.
  • Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

Compensation: Commission-based position. Pay is dependent on service packages.
