Commercial Equipment Service Technician (CFESA)
Location: Greater Tampa, FL
Type: Full-Time / Direct Placement
Pay: $25–$40/hr + Commission Potential DOE

Our client is a well-established commercial foodservice equipment service company operating throughout the Greater Tampa and Orlando areas. They've built a strong reputation on quality workmanship and reliable customer service - and they're adding to their field team. What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, and beverage systems
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime for customers
  • Manage a service route independently with professionalism and efficiency
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Communicate clearly with customers on equipment status, completed repairs, and follow-up recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service records, parts documentation, and work orders
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of hands-on commercial foodservice equipment service experience
  • CFESA certification preferred - or active pursuit of certification
  • EPA 608 Certification required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your day with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Professional, customer-facing communication skills
  • Manufacturer-specific certifications (Manitowoc, Rational, Hobart, etc.) are a plus
