Job description

Lincoln Tech invites seasoned professionals to share their expertise on an as-needed basis as Substitute Instructors for our Auto Body / Collision program. We truly believe your industry expertise will inspire our students. Let's work together to train interested individuals and bridge the demand-supply gap of the industry. Lincoln has successfully transitioned experienced technicians with little or no teaching background into organized educators. We provide ongoing training and tools, which make it easy for you to carry out our structured curriculum.
Responsibilities for an Auto Body / Collision Substitute Instructor:
  • Deliver engaging lectures with the help of Lincoln Tech's standardized curriculum.
  • Provide practical training ensuring periodic maintenance of equipment.
  • Evaluate and communicate student performance in a timely manner.

Requirements for an Auto Body / Collision Substitute Instructor:
  • The necessary academic credentials and work-related experience mandated by the company, state, accreditation, and any other regulatory agencies that monitor compliance
  • Certified or licensed where required by law
  • Minimum of three years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught (excluding teaching experience)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
