Job description

Must Have Qualifications: 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience in Java 8+, Python, SQL/databases, AWS, Jenkins, and CI/CD, responsible for the design, development and ongoing support of applications. Candidates should be able to work independently, take ownership, and proactively deliver solutions. Nice to have experience in advanced SQL, Angular, Kafka, and additional AWS technologies.

Schedule: Standard w/ on call rotation

Job Description – Full Stack Developer Senior

 Required Experience & Education

 

·       5+ years of professional software development experience.

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Qualifications:

·       Must have strong analytical skills.

·       Must have strong application development, testing, and deployment skills utilizing Java, Spring Boot, SQL, JavaScript, JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins.

·       Must be able to understand and run existing Python applications and convert them to Java.

·       Be able to reason through and communicate ideas they bring to the table.

·       Be open-minded for others’ ideas. A motivated team player.

·       Must have experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. VS Code, Amazon Kiro).

·       Nice-to-have skills: AWS, Angular/React, Kafka, Advanced SQL.

·       End-to-end software development: including analysis, design, development, automated testing, deployment, and maintenance using industry best practices and security standards.

·       Performance optimization: analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance application efficiency and scalability.

·       Collaborative solution delivery: partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, leverage proof-of-concepts for technical decisions, and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.

·       Production support and maintenance: support applications you build across environments, resolve critical issues, and fulfill ad hoc requests to ensure seamless business operations.
