About the job you're considering

The Backend Developer - Java & Golang will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining highperformance, scalable backend systems that power modern digital and enterprise applications. This role focuses on cloudready, APIdriven architectures and emphasizes strong engineering practices, performance, and reliability.

Your Role

    Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Golang.
    Build and support RESTful APIs and distributed backend services.
    Contribute to overall system design, scalability, performance tuning, and resiliency.
    Collaborate closely with solution architects, DevOps engineers, and crossfunctional teams.
    Implement best practices for coding standards, security, reliability, and maintainability.
    Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and backlog refinement.
    Support integration with databases, messaging systems, and external services.
    Leverage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and automated application delivery.
    Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in Linux and serverside environments.

Your Skills and Experience

    Strong handson experience developing backend services using Java and Golang.
    Experience with backend frameworks and serviceoriented development.
    Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and data persistence using SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
    Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.
    Experience working in Linuxbased server environments.
    Strong problemsolving skills and attention to performance and scalability.
Nice to Have
    Experience with microservices architecture.
    Containerization and orchestration experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
    Handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
    Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
    Exposure to largescale enterprise systems and distributed platforms.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $53,580 to $122,400

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
