About the Role
Step into a pivotal role as a CBRE Electrician, where your expertise doesn't just maintain equipment-it powers groundbreaking innovation. Your meticulous inspection, repair, and maintenance work will directly safeguard system reliability, enhance safety standards, and guarantee uninterrupted operational continuity, enabling our pharmaceutical client to push the boundaries of discovery and development.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional seeking a stable, first-shift, Monday-to-Friday schedule. You will provide essential, compliant, and reliable electrical services across cutting-edge research laboratories, vital stability storage facilities, and dynamic pilot plant environments. Join our team and play a direct role in maintaining the sophisticated infrastructure that supports life-changing pharmaceutical advancements.
What You'll Do
  • Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
  • Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
  • Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.
  • Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operate electrical test equipment-including volt/ohm meters, amp probes, power analyzers, and insulation testers-while following established testing procedures and accurately documenting all results.
  • Maintain and repair electrical and electronic controls on complex systems, including HVAC equipment, variable speed controllers, lighting systems, and process equipment.
  • Complete all regulatory training prior to conducting work. Perform all work activities utilizing the appropriate procedures to include GMP/GLP, organizations, department or local requirements. Perform all work utilizing the appropriate environmental regulations and policies. Complete appropriate documentation associated with maintenance activities. Manage individual ITP to ensure compliance.

What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages discounts and commissions.
