Position Overview

Boyer Commercial Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site operations for complex commercial construction projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving project success from pre-construction through closeout.

The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record managing large-scale commercial projects. You are a proactive problem solver, a strong communicator, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through project completion
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and daily site operations
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Partner with the Project Manager to develop, maintain, and execute project schedules
  • Conduct regular site meetings and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Ensure work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with plans, specifications, and codes
  • Identify and resolve field challenges proactively to keep projects on track
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners
  • Optimize site logistics, resource allocation, and productivity for maximum efficiency
  • Mentor and develop junior superintendents and field personnel

Qualifications

  • 20+ years of hands-on experience supervising commercial construction projects
  • Demonstrated success delivering ground-up, renovation, and/or tenant improvement projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Proven leadership, team-building, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with construction technology platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents
