Sr. Project Manager - Public Works

Salary Range: $130,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually

Job Summary

MARS Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of commercial and industrial solar projects from post-contract through completion. In addition to managing projects, this role will oversee and support other Project Managers, helping drive consistency, accountability, and overall project performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned projects from post-contract through utility PTO
  • Oversee scope, schedule, and budgets across multiple active projects
  • Maintain accurate project tracking in ERP and internal systems
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet project timelines
  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review project schedules, contracts, and key milestones to ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Oversee and support Project Managers across active projects
  • Promote consistency in project execution, communication, and reporting
  • Identify risks, delays, and gaps and support resolution
  • Assist in prioritization and workload balancing across projects and PMs
  • Serve as a point of escalation for project challenges impacting timeline, budget, or customer satisfaction
  • Travel to local job sites as needed to support project execution (up to 20%)
Qualifications
  • 4+ years commercial solar project management experience
  • 4+ years construction management experience
  • 2+ years electrical experience
  • Experience supporting or mentoring other Project Managers preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking systems
  • Electrical License strongly preferred
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean MVR required (company vehicle use)
  • Ability to travel to local job sites up to 20%
