Position Summary:
 
Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our Commercial Roofing Service Technicians are hard-working, enjoy seeing a job from start to finish, and want to learn and grow in their career.
 
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!
 
Starting pay ranges from $20-$32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
 
  • Inspect roofs for damages and leaks
  • Perform roof repairs as needed
  • Completing field inspections
  • Develop a scope of work with a budget
  • Organize a materials list
  • Clean rooftops by snow removal, ice removal and other debris
  • Additional duties
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman
  • Experience with diagnosing leaks on HVAC, skylights, siding, and other potential leak sources would be helpful
  • Experience with scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift
  • No fear of heights
  • Lift 50+ lbs
  • Sit, stand, and climb stairs
  • Customer service experience
  • On the job training is provided

Physical Demands:
 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will use hands, have to talk, and hear. The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
