Job description

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and outgoing individual with strong leadership skills who is looking for a challenging opportunity to join our team as a Commercial Production Associate. The Commercial Production Associate is responsible for managing sub-contractors who complete commercial painting projects setting clients and contractors up for success.
Our ideal candidate is a driven and motivated leader with at least two years of increasingly responsible project management experience that includes supervisory/leadership responsibilities. He or she must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong leadership and motivational skills. A college degree and industry knowledge are preferred. Formal Project Management training/certification is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepares job schedule, budget, and materials list and delivers to appropriate team members and customer
  • Project planning and execution to maintain to exceed target gross margin
  • Understands and delivers all jobs to satisfy customer expectations
  • Performs inspections/site walkthroughs to identify progress and address potential issues as early as possible and to ensure project adheres to timeline
  • Supervises all project staff and subcontractors
  • Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices, and rectifies job site hazards immediately and ensures all company employees and subcontractors follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Updates project data without delay in all applicable documents or company computer systems
  • Develops and maintains client relationships and subcontractor through frequent phone calls, texts, emails and visits
  • Acts as a liaison between the client and subcontractor team
  • Maintains positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other employees
  • Promotes business development by projecting a positive image of CertaPro during interactions with employees, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Participates in meetings, committees, educational opportunities, etc. as requested/required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least two years of increasingly responsible project management/estimating experience
  • Supervisory/management experience
  • Project Management training and/or certification a plus
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Quality conscious and detail-oriented
  • Safety and customer service oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
