Building a solid understanding of both financial analysis and the commercial real estate market can help in providing tailored solutions and ensuring successful transactions.

What is a commercial mortgage?

Commercial mortgages are loans secured by commercial property, such as office buildings, shopping centers, industrial warehouses, or apartment complexes. These loans are typically used by businesses or investors to purchase, refinance, or redevelop commercial real estate. Unlike residential mortgages, commercial mortgages often have higher interest rates, shorter terms, and may require larger down payments. The approval process also usually involves assessing the income the property generates to ensure it can cover the loan payments.
