What you will be doing as a Lead Mechanic:
โ€ข Perform mechanical work including but not limited to alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections for commercial and light truck applications.
โ€ข No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility.
โ€ข Providing guidance and training to other team members
โ€ข Helping assign jobs and duties to team members
โ€ข Assisting with scheduling customer jobs
โ€ข Helping to motivate team members and keep them on task
โ€ข Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory.
โ€ข Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs.
What We're Looking For:
โ€ข Six years of general mechanical work experience, including at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles.
โ€ข Experience doing commercial vehicle alignments is a must.
โ€ข Must have own tools and tool storage.
โ€ข Experience working with computer point of sale software is a plus.
โ€ข Possessing a CDL is a plus.
