Job description

EUA is seeking a skilled and experienced Interior Designer to join our Firm, supporting our Workplace and K-12 markets. This is a unique opportunity to grow our Interiors practice in Atlanta, backed by the support of our Architectural & Interiors’ teams firmwide. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, who values design, storytelling, client engagement & relationship building. Possessing the ability to integrate with a fully engineered team, the candidate is skilled at all phases of commercial interior design including visioning, programming, space planning, finish selections, lighting design, furniture selection and specification, millwork detailing, and finish/furniture cost estimating. Creation of design documentation through all phases of a project in support of an interior renovation or new construction project is paramount. Exceptional client engagement and presentation skills are also required.

  • NCIDQ Certified
  • Expertise in workplace & K-12 markets; knowledge of tenant improvement work a plus.
  • Ability to engage in team coordination and lead design collaboration.
  • Ability to self-direct project work and tasks, as well as delegate and mentor staff.
  • Prepares construction documents
  • Reviews & responds to shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and is responsible for on-site observation
  • Excellent working knowledge of interior products & associated personnel network.

The Fine Print

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
  • Proficiency in Revit required
  • Use of BIM software & visualization methods is essential.
  • 8-10 years of commercial Interior Design experience
