Job description

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and experienced in servicing commercial insurance accounts while building strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.

Responsibilities

● Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.

● Prepare quotes, applications, renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.

● Review policies for accuracy and ensure appropriate coverage recommendations.

● Respond promptly to client questions regarding coverage, billing, and claims.

● Market new and renewal business with insurance carriers to obtain competitive coverage and pricing.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.

● Follow up on renewals and identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products.

● Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the agency management system.

● Stay current on commercial insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry changes.

Requirements

● Active California Property Casualty Insurance License (required).

● 2+ years of commercial insurance experience preferred.

● Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages including General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Property, Umbrella, and Business Owner Policies (BOP).

● Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

● Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

● Experience with agency management systems and carrier websites.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
