Job Summary:

The Janitorial Technician provides cleaning and sanitation services in support of CommandTec?s government contracts. This position ensures assigned facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition in accordance with contract requirements, company policies, and quality control standards.

The role requires adherence to established cleaning schedules, proper handling of cleaning materials, and compliance with all safety and performance expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and detailed cleaning of:
    • Floors (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing as required)
    • Restrooms (cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies)
    • Offices, common areas, and high-touch surfaces
    • Trash collection and disposal in designated areas
  • Execute cleaning and disinfection procedures according to assigned schedules and task requirements
  • Perform cleaning of designated areas requiring enhanced sanitation as required by contract
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and assigned task schedules
  • Support CommandTec?s Quality Control (QC) Program, including participation in inspections and correction of deficiencies
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report malfunctions or supply shortages
  • Follow all CommandTec safety policies and site-specific procedures
  • Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and OSHA guidelines
  • Accurately record all hours worked using the company?s timekeeping system
  • Maintain professional conduct when interacting with site personnel and the public
  • Participate in required safety meetings and training sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract performance
