What are comics games?

Comics games are video or tabletop games that are based on, inspired by, or directly adapt comic book characters, stories, or universes. These games often allow players to interact with popular comic book heroes and villains, experiencing narratives and adventures similar to those found in comic books. They can include a variety of genres, such as action, adventure, role-playing, and card games, and are available on multiple platforms. Popular examples include games based on Marvel and DC Comics properties. Comics games appeal to fans of both comics and gaming, offering immersive experiences in beloved fictional worlds.
