Job description
Could You Be the Perfect Match?
I am a young adult woman looking for a caring, supportive LifeSharing provider in the Central Pennsylvania area. I'm hoping to find a family who is ready to welcome me into their home and share everyday life together.
I enjoy spending my time reading comic books, listening to music, and cooking-especially when I get to try out new recipes. I would love to be part of a family that shares some of these interests and can also offer opportunities for me to go swimming or play soccer. I truly enjoy being outdoors, whether it's relaxing on the porch with a book or simply enjoying the fresh air.
Animals are a big part of my life, and I'm hoping to find a home where I can be around them regularly. I would love the chance to work with animals and would be excited to have a dog in my new home.
Looking ahead, one of my long-term goals is to attend higher education to pursue hotel management. I'm excited to share that I'll be starting at HACC early next year to begin this journey.
If you are a LifeSharing provider who values connection, shared interests, and supporting someone's growth, I would love the opportunity to meet you.
A few things that are valuable to me are:
- A calm and welcoming home
- Consistent routines with flexibility for fun
- Kindness, patience, and good humor
- Being included in family activities and daily life
- Having a pet-especially a dog
People appreciate that I am:
- Helpful and eager to support others
- A dependable and caring
- Confident in advocating for myself
- Focused on building greater independence
- Motivated to learn new skills, including cooking and creative crafts
What I'm looking for in a LifeSharing provider:
- A safe, supportive, and stable home
- A person or family open to sharing life, experiences and exploring
- Someone who will help me grow, participate in community life, and reach my personal goals
- One with experience with or willingness to learn about intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or autism
- Great at making others smile!
