Network in cooperation with the Fox Television Stations, the Catchy Comedy Network, the H&I - Heroes & Icons Network, the Start TV Network and the Dabl Network in association with the CBS Television Stations, the Story Television Network, the MeTV Toons Network in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, and WEST- Western Entertainment Series Television Network. Weigel produces the original network TV programs Svengoolie, Toon In With Me and Collectorโ€™s Call. VP Content Strategy, Scheduling and Operations


The VP Content Strategy, Scheduling & Operations position is responsible for strategizing program schedules and rollouts for a number of Weigel Networks with the SVP of Content Strategy, along with overseeing the day-to-day scheduling and operations of the networks including creating and managing event and stunt initiatives with the program scheduling team, while coordinating with Acquisitions Lead recommendations for future programming. The position will work with the Research Team to follow networks performances, making scheduling adjustments based on performance, while tracking network competition. The ideal candidate will be well versed in content from television to film and has a passion for all television genres, in addition, will be skilled at evaluating practices and procedures to streamline and maximize processes while finding efficiencies. The candidate needs to be able to manage several projects at once while able to pivot to respond to programming opportunities. The role is based in Chicago.


Duties/Responsibilities:

Passion for TV and Movies, with knowledge of various television genres including classic television.

Awareness of TV landscape including networks and other platforms.

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.

Experience with program management systems preferred.

Other duties, as assigned.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $100,000.00-$180,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements:

In-Office

A minimum of 10-12 years' experience with increasing responsibility programming television networks or local stations.

At least 5 years' experience in a leadership role.
