This large, academic medical center provides comprehensive pediatric hematology/oncology services in an inpatient setting. The facility is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians and advanced practice professionals. The center maintains the resources and protocols necessary to support complex pediatric cases, including pediatric transplant services.

About the Clinician's Workday

The Physician Associate will provide inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology care Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Daily patient volume ranges from 3 to 6, with the potential to increase as additional hematology/oncology cases are incorporated. Documentation is conducted through EPIC EMR, and hospital privileges are required with a credentialing timeline of 30 to 60 days. Board certification in pediatric hematology/oncology is required, and an active Illinois state license is highly preferred for submission.
