Position Summary

The Concession Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by accurately and efficiently processing patrons' food and beverage purchases by personally performing the following duties. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.77-$21.50 and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until October 2, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Completes duties assigned by Stand Lead.
  • Greets patrons with a smile and engages them in conversation as appropriate.
  • Accurately and efficiently processes patrons' food and beverage orders and purchases through the POS system. Recites the order back to the patron.
  • Maintains the accountability and security of their individual cash drawer.
  • Stocks and cleans within their immediate area, ensuring a clean, presentable, and well-stocked appearance.
  • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned, including the cleaning & closing of the stand.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS credit transactions and product inventory.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
