Job Summary Job Description DUTIES:
  • Provide technical leadership in developing software and web applications using Java, SQL, and design patterns to leverage Object-Oriented Principles (SOLID, DRY, Clean Code), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and UML modeling
  • design Enterprise Integration Patterns using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
  • design microservices and Event-Driven Architecture using Kafka, JMS, REST and GraphQL API
  • design Persistence and Repository abstraction using JPA and Hibernate
  • design Reactive paradigms using Project Reactor
  • design Security patterns using OAuth2 and OpenID Connect via Spring Security
  • design Messaging and Streaming services using Kafka and RabbitMQ
  • design Caching strategies using Redis
  • design Containerization and Orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, EFK, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • perform CI/CD using Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
  • ensure programs are envisioned, designed, developed and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs
  • interface with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs
  • ensure solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable and delivered on schedule
  • track and document requirements for enterprise development projects and enhancements

  • develop, document and ensure compliance with best practices including but not limited to the following coding standards, object oriented designs, platform and framework specific design concerns and human interface guidelines
  • guide and mentor junior-level engineers
  • Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience designing Persistence and Repository abstraction using JPA and Hibernate
  • performing CI/CD using Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
  • of which three (3) years include developing software and web applications using Java, SQL, and design patterns to leverage Object-Oriented Principles (SOLID, DRY, Clean Code), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and UML modeling
