Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing/monitoring the construction job lifecycle of new commercial and residential projects to ensure new construction, repair, and system maintenance activities are completed in accordance with established standards. Administers some aspects of construction activities, including materials, labor, and resource allocation planning. Acts as lead in teams and projects. Has developed knowledge and skills in own discipline. Still acquiring higher level skills. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
This role requires to be in office 4 days a week with 1 optional WFH day.
Schedule: Mon - Friday and must work in MST working time with a start window between 6a-9a MST.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensures the execution of construction duties including job creation, management, and QC.
  • Job Ownership for all Residential Jobs, Job creation handoff for Commercial, Betterments and Expense Job Types with agility as business needs demand.
  • Investigates and monitors accurate record keeping with regards to project start, milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures.
  • Instructs regional partners on completion of tasks in the field by monitoring completion dates, project timelines, and permitting limitations.
  • Supports Specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects at the National and Regional Levels.
  • Generates logs and reports on construction, projects, materials, and expenditures.
  • Reviews, resolves, follows-up customer request and complaints.
  • Monitors performance in partnership with Regional Specialist of Construction crews to establish goals and objectives.
  • Assists with the annual plant construction budget.
  • Coordinates in partnership with regional specialist all phases of construction projects including pre-construction meetings, site surveys, permit and license applications, make-ready, design and documentation, material procurement, contract labor requirements, and plant activation.
  • Oversees the activity of subcontractors.
  • Meets and interacts with Government/Town officials and representatives from Utilities, Contractors, outside agencies, consultants and internal business partners.
  • Provides technical advice and engineering support to other departments including Procurement, Warehouse, Legal, Government Relations, and Design Center functions.
  • Develops cost estimates for a project, monitors job costs, evaluates change orders and controls the cost of work in progress to budget.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $35.11 - $52.67Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
