Job Description
We are seeking a Strategic Alliances Director who will be responsible for the management, execution and expansion of assigned Strategic Alliance partners for Acumen Solutions. The primary accountability is development of strategies and relationship expansion to grow revenue and market presence for both Acumen Solutions and the assigned partners. This role is focused on cultivating the alliance relationship and execution across Acumen Solutions in the areas of CRM, Mobility, and other SaaS partners as assigned. This position will be based out of San Francisco, CA. Travel is required.
 
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops framework for expectations of assigned Alliance Partner(s) to expand business
  • Works collaboratively with Global Services, Marketing and Sales throughout the Alliance Lifecycle(s) from screening for Alliance Partner (s) through on-going management and potential retirement of Alliance Partner (s) relationship
  • Develops and enhances the client relationship with assigned Alliance Partner(s) in order to build engagement strategies to increase revenues for both Acumen Solutions and the Alliance Partner(s)
  • Manages and expands key stakeholder contact network with assigned Alliance Partner(s) and works closely with internal teams to identify and expand networks
  • Coordinates executive sponsorship and relationship alignment between Acumen Solutions / Alliance Partner(s)
  • Develops partner profile(s) to ensure strategic alignment and fit with Acumen Solutions Alliance Strategy
  • Develops Alliance Strategy for execution with assigned Alliance Partner(s)
  • Responsible for developing detailed business plan for assigned partner relationship(s)
  • Identifies joint offerings capabilities with Alliance Partner and coordinates Go To Market strategy with Alliance Partner(s)
  • Builds joint governance model to ensure effective alliance management and execution
  • Responsible for the joint plan, contracts, offerings messages and communications
  • Designs Sales Enablement strategies and strategic growth initiatives and communication materials associated with launching Alliance Partnership (s)
  • Identifies gaps in Acumen Solutions and / or Alliance Partner(s) strategies and develops mitigation plans to fill gaps to meet marketplace requirements
  • Services as the focal point for escalation for issue resolution
  • Responsible for leading joint Acumen Solutions and Alliance Partner status meetings
Qualifications

(Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • College degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5-10 years Executive Sales Experience or Marketing experience
  • Strategic thinker who is able to blend consulting and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new partner initiatives
  • History of successfully developing and leading multiple strategic partnerships 
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce technology and applications products/solutions, platform and SaaS 
  • Must be comfortable with complexity, and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrates use of critical thinking techniques
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills 
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support Alliances
