Coax Splicer - All Florida Locations

Locations: Jacksonville, Orlando, West Palm Beach, and Miami, FL

Buckley Cable Construction is seeking experienced Coax Splicers to support telecommunications construction projects throughout Florida.

We are hiring for multiple locations and are looking for skilled professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Whether you are currently working in cable television, broadband, or telecommunications construction, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Perform coaxial cable splicing, activation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair coaxial network issues.
  • Read and interpret system prints, maps, and work orders.
  • Perform signal balancing and system testing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
  • Follow all customer specifications and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and field personnel.
  • Maintain company equipment and vehicles.
QualificationsRequired
  • Previous experience as a Coax Splicer in the telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge of coaxial cable construction and maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network issues.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred
  • Experience with CATV construction.
  • Experience with aerial and underground plant.
  • Experience with Comcast, Charter, Cox, Blue Stream, or other cable MSOs.
  • CDL Class A or B.
