About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Application Engineering Intern to support our engineering and sales teams. This internship is ideal for students interested in applying their technical background to customer-focused problem-solving. You'll gain hands-on exposure to hydronic specialty equipment, combustion systems, and energy-efficient solutions-while learning how to translate engineering principles into real-world applications that meet client needs..

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist sales engineers in developing technical proposals and application solutions for combustion, boiler, and hydronic systems.
  • Support product selection, configuration, and system design to meet customer requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings and client discussions to understand technical and application needs.
  • Help prepare technical drawings, performance data, and documentation for submittals.
  • Conduct product and competitor research to support solution development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturer partners to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or a related technical field).
  • Interest in energy-efficient systems, hydronic applications, and combustion technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CAD or similar engineering tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
