Job description

deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Principal Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

The selected Principal Test Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the GWS-GSS IPT. They will be responsible for scheduling the tests for execution and then will monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust for evolving conditions.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of experience with a PhD
  • Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing
  • Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing
  • Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements
  • Experience in C++ development
  • Experience using Python and other scripting languages
  • Experience using Eggplant or other GUI based toolset
  • Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs

Special Skills Desired:

  • Security+ certification
  • GMD/MDA Experience
  • Java experience/understanding
  • Experience using Cameo
  • Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance
