Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
  2. Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
  3. Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation
  4. Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies
  5. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care
Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  2. Current Speech Language Pathologist ( SLP ) and ASHA CCC certification in the state of Alabama
  3. 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred)
  4. Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation
  5. Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration
