Job description

Band Color Guard Director

The Color Guard Director is responsible for developing, instructing, and supervising the color guard program as part of the high school marching band. Responsibilities include designing and teaching choreography, equipment work, and performance techniques; conducting auditions; supervising rehearsals and performances; collaborating with the Marching Band Director and drill writer to ensure visual coordination; maintaining color guard equipment and uniforms; and fostering student growth, leadership, and teamwork. The Color Guard Director may also coordinate participation in competitions, clinics, and special performances.
