Position Details

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Post-Production Artist to join our commercial photography team. This position is responsible for retouching, color-correcting, organizing, and preparing high-quality product images for e-commerce, catalogs, print, and marketing materials.

The ideal candidate has strong Photoshop skills, an excellent eye for color and detail, and the ability to maintain consistent quality while working with a high volume of images.

Key Responsibilities

* Retouch and prepare commercial product photography for final delivery.

* Perform accurate color correction to closely match the physical product.

* Remove dust, scratches, wrinkles, reflections, supports, and unwanted elements.

* Create clean clipping paths, layer masks, and transparent-background images.

* Maintain realistic product shape, texture, materials, shadows, and dimensionality.

* Crop, straighten, resize, sharpen, and format images to established specifications.

* Follow file-naming, folder-routing, color-profile, metadata, and delivery standards.

* Review completed images for retouching quality, color accuracy, and technical compliance.

* Manage multiple projects and meet daily and weekly production deadlines.

* Communicate with photographers and studio leadership when images require additional work or reshooting.

Qualifications

* Professional experience in commercial retouching, production art, or digital imaging.

* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.

* Strong knowledge of layers, masks, clipping paths, Smart Objects, selections, and nondestructive editing.

* Strong understanding of product color correction and image preparation for web and print.

* Excellent attention to detail, organization, and file-management skills.

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

* Portfolio demonstrating professional product-retouching work.

Experience with home décor, furniture, rugs, lighting, textiles, or e-commerce photography is preferred. Familiarity with Capture One, Adobe Bridge, batch processing, Photoshop actions, or automated image workflows is a plus.

Please submit a resume and portfolio showing relevant commercial product-retouching work.
